There’s just over a week to go now until the 2017 Packaging Innovations Fair at the NEC in Birmingham. Our team are busy preparing our stand, the second show we’ve attended this year after the huge Paperworld fair in Frankfurt last month.
I always get a buzz attending this show and catching up with the latest trends and solutions in packaging and to see the companies leading the charge in innovative packaging.
On the theme of innovation, a principle close to my heart, I’m looking forward to seeing some of the seminars in The Ideas Factory theatre which is new for this year’s show. The Ideas Factory will feature leading innovators across a range of industries sharing their knowledge and successes that can be applied to the packaging industry.
A couple of seminars which caught my eye are the Digital Moment of Truth: designing Packaging for e-commerce talk with Brent Nelson and Justine Mahler from Amazon, and a talk on the Craft Beer revolution by Ritchie Bosworth, Founder & Head Brewer, Twisted Barrel Ale. Both these rapidly growing and evolving markets are of particular interest from an AirPack perspective.
I hope you’ll be able to join us at the NEC and we look forward to welcoming you to our stand (D13 near the Visitors entrance in the Empack area). We’ll be showing some of our latest auto inflation machines for our protective inflatable bags and a range of other new products.
See you there!
