Register Your Valuable Items
Our mission at AirPack is to protect valuable items from damage in transit and storage, so anything which further promotes the idea of keeping our most precious belongings safe is always good with us! When I saw the details of Immobilise, an online property register used by police forces around the UK, I thought it was something important enough to share.
Make A List and Register Valuable Items Online
Apart from the obvious things such as insurance and using the built-in security features for computers and mobiles there is one other really important thing you can do to protect your belongings:
List all the valuable items you have and register the more expensive items on the UK National Property Register
The Immobilise property register helps police identify the owners of recovered property thousands of times every day and return stolen goods to their rightful owners. Setting up an account is free and you can list as many items as you want.
Additional information such as photos, receipts and insurance documents can also be added, making it easier to report items in the unfortunate event they get stolen and simplifying insurance claims and Police reports.
The Immobilise register is also great for independently storing the details of your mobile phone – could you quickly find your mobile’s IMEI number if your phone went missing?
The register is also great for bikes, and the information on the register is immediately available to all police forces around the UK. Additional products such as RFID bike identification tags are also available from the site.
More details on the Immobilise online property registration can be found at www.immobilise.com
Keep protecting those valuable items – after all, it’s what we do at AirPack every day!
